Phillips Group launches ESG and Sustainability practice

Leading Brisbane communication, creative, and digital firm Phillips Group today launched a dedicated ESG and Sustainability Practice, providing an expanded service offering to meet the rapidly evolving needs of corporate, government and industry clients.

Phillips Group Managing Director Stephanie Paul said the new practice area was a natural evolution of Phillips Group’s more than 30 years’ experience working in sustainability communication, social impact campaigns and investor relations.

“With the backdrop of evolving ESG considerations transforming the way organisations must develop strategy, drive performance, and report results, now is the right time to consolidate and expand our service offering under the single unified banner of an ESG and Sustainability practice,” Ms Paul said.

“Phillips Group will provide strategic advisory and communication support to organisational leadership on identifying critical ESG-related business risks and opportunities, building on our many years of experience providing strategic communication advice to clients on environmental, social and governance issues.”

The Phillips Group ESG and Sustainability team – led by Managing Director Stephanie Paul, Group Executive Directors Helen Hutchings and Andrew Buckley, and Senior Sustainability Consultant Robyn Kozera – will provide a full suite of strategic corporate advisory and communication services to support organisations as they manage the increasing regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations for ESG action and reporting.

“Our highly experienced ESG and Sustainability team will lead our expanded service offering that will support our clients in the corporate, government and infrastructure sectors as they manage the host of ESG challenges facing them in the future.”

Group Executive Director Corporate Andrew Buckley said the addition of the ESG and Sustainability practice would complement Phillips Group’s existing communication services.

“We understand the strategic and operational challenges and risks that organisations are facing as they seek to respond to and manage regulatory and stakeholder expectations around ESG issues,” Mr Buckley said.

“We are looking forward to working with organisations on the plethora of opportunities to clearly articulate their ESG story around key issues such as climate change, diversity and inclusion, supply chain management and data security and privacy.

“Our portfolio of services support organisations through their ESG journey, by developing ESG communication strategy, engaging stakeholders on ESG issues, effectively communicating ESG commitments and activities, and building a strong ESG proposition that drives long-term success and delivers value to all stakeholders.”

The launch of the ESG and Sustainability practice complements recent developments within Phillips Group, including the addition of a new Health and Care sector practice area.
